Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, seeks an experienced procurement leader to oversee a large team of procurement professionals. You will guide RFPs, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, and program execution for global supply chains.

You will develop vendor selection programs, manage supplier relationships with a focus on quality and reliability, and direct resolution of client issues in a highly matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 8+ years of relevant experience; or advanced degree with 5+ years; without a degree, 12+ years are required.
• Experience leading procurement, RFPs, negotiations and cost accountability in aerospace or manufacturing.
• Strong data management skills and knowledge of Excel (V-lookups, Pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with export/ITC regulations and SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage processes, standards, and plans for RFPs, negotiations, and program execution.
• Respond to critical client issues and resolve supply delays or shortages.
• Monitor suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve problems.
• Authorize POs, negotiate prices, and approve payments.
• Lead cross-functional projects and communicate status to senior leadership.
