Qualifications

• Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience.
• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Handle RFQ and cost data for production and development items.
• Set up suppliers with required approvals per company standards.
• Manage price books and cost variances.
• Support standard cost-roll activities.
• Analyze demand and pricing to set order quantities.
• Support design activities and execute plans.
• Identify cost reductions and savings strategies.
• Lead or support cost reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with potential suppliers and program team to cut weight and cost, address quality issues.
• Ensure suppliers are rate-ready to support production.
• Maintain effective communication with tactical counterparts.
• Input supplier knowledge into commodity strategy.
• Execute commodity strategy.
• Manage special projects with stakeholders across value streams.
• Multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively.
• Uphold high ethical standards in dealings.
• Be a team player and work collaboratively.
• Perform other duties and participate in EHS practices.
