Qualifications

• University Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Engineering/Other Technical Positions: STEM degree typically required.

Responsibilities

• Purchase and/or sourcing RFQ and cost data for production and development Lavs.
• Set up suppliers including necessary approvals per company standards.
• Manage price books and cost variances.
• Support standard cost-roll activities.
• Analyze demand and pricing to set appropriate order quantities and batch size.
• Support design activities and execute these plans.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and develop strategies to realize savings.
• Lead or support the implementation of cost reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with potential suppliers and program team to reduce weight and cost, and address quality issues.
• Ensure suppliers are ‘rate ready’ to support production.
