Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. seeks a Senior Process Technician to support setup, operation, monitoring and improvement of PLP FOWLP and Fan-In WLCSP processes.

You will assist process engineers and production teams to ensure stable process performance and high product quality. This role requires a technical diploma or degree in electronics or related engineering, plus 2–5 years in electronics/semiconductor manufacturing with FOWLP and Fan-In/Out packaging experience.

• Drive yield improvement activities and support new process development and ramp-up.

Job Description:

The Senior Process Technician is responsible for supporting the setup, operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of PLP Fan-Out Wafer Level Packaging (FOWLP) and Fan-In WLCSP manufacturing processes. The role provides technical support to process engineers and production teams to ensure stable process performance, product quality, equipment uptime, and successful qualification of new products and technologies.

This position serves as a key technical resource in process line sustaining, maintaining process integrity, driving yield improvement activities, and supporting new process development and production ramp-up.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Technical diploma or degree in:

• Electronics Technology or Engineering or any related Engineering
• Semiconductor Manufacturing
• Mechatronics

Minimum of 2 to 5 years' experience in the electronics or semiconductor manufacturing industry with experience in Fan-In and Fan-out Wafer Level Packaging
