Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Senior Process Technician to support the setup, operation, monitoring, and improvement of PLP Fan-Out Wafer Level Packaging and Fan-In WLCSP processes.

You will work closely with process engineers and production teams to ensure stable process performance, high product quality, equipment uptime, and successful qualification of new devices. Requirements include a technical diploma or degree in Electronics Technology or Engineering or related semiconductor

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or degree in Electronics Technology or Engineering or related semiconductor field.
• 2–5 years' experience in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience in Fan-In and Fan-Out Wafer Level Packaging.

Responsibilities

• Support setup, operation, monitoring, troubleshooting of PLP Fan-Out WLP and Fan-In WLCSP processes.
• Provide technical support to process engineers and production teams to ensure stable process performance and equipment uptime.

Job Description: The Senior Process Technician is responsible for supporting the setup, operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of PLP Fan-Out Wafer Level Packaging (FOWLP) and Fan-In WLCSP manufacturing processes. The role provides technical support to process engineers and production teams to ensure stable process performance, product quality, equipment uptime, and successful qualification of new products and technologies. This position serves as a key technical resource in process line sustaining, maintaining process integrity, driving yield improvement activities, and supporting new process development and production ramp-up.

Requirements/Qualifications

Technical diploma or degree in: Electronics Technology or Engineering or any related Engineering Semiconductor Manufacturing Mechatronics Minimum of 2 to 5 years' experience in the electronics or semiconductor manufacturing industry with experience in Fan-In and Fan-out Wafer Level Packaging Travel Time: 0% - 25%
