• PhD in NLP, IR, ML or related fields (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of industry experience focused on deep learning-based NLP, LLM pre-training, and IR methods.

Responsibilities

• Innovative R&D: design and deploy scalable ML solutions for personalized learning and tutor systems.
• Scientific leadership: develop long-term roadmaps aligned with product strategy and business goals.
• Cross-functional collaboration: partner with product, engineering and applied science teams.
• Mentorship: guide scientists and engineers to foster a collaborative science community.
• Drive best practices: establish architecture design, research roadmaps and deployment pipelines.
