About the Role

We're looking for a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, production-ready AI solutions in an enterprise environment. You'll combine strong Python/.NET engineering with generative AI, AWS cloud architecture, and enterprise integration. You'll take solutions from design through deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, cloud infrastructure teams, cybersecurity specialists, and product managers to deliver AI systems that are reliable, secure, and built to enterprise standard.

What You'll Do

• Translate business requirements into technical designs and lead architecture and design reviews
• Build Python and/or .NET services, APIs, and data-processing components that power AI solutions
• Design and integrate secure connections between AI systems and enterprise applications, data platforms, and external services
• Develop generative AI and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions using large language models, embeddings, and enterprise search
• Build and deploy solutions on AWS using services like Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, Bedrock, and Step Functions
• Implement observability using Datadog, including logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerts across applications and AI workloads
• Apply secure development practices, using tools like Wiz and Snyk to manage vulnerabilities and cloud security risks
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and design discussions
• Support production deployments, incident response, and continuous reliability improvements

What You'll Need

• Strong professional experience building production-grade applications in Python (and/or .NET)
• Hands-on experience with generative AI, RAG, or AI agent development
• Practical experience with AWS-native cloud services and cloud-native architecture
• Experience integrating REST APIs, event-driven services, and enterprise data platforms
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog (or similar)
• Experience with application/cloud security tools such as Wiz and Snyk
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, ECS, or EKS)
• Solid grounding in automated testing, CI/CD, and source control practices
• Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and influence without formal authority
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Nice to have

experience in a regulated, financial, or public-sector environment; familiarity with Amazon Bedrock, vector databases, AI governance, or infrastructure-as-code practices.
