Job summary

KamelMedia is seeking a Senior PR & Influencer Marketing Manager to lead and build our PR and influencer capabilities. This role combines strategy with hands-on execution across earned media, influencer partnerships, events, and brand reputation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in public relations or influencer marketing.
• Demonstrated experience developing strategy and independently executing campaigns.
• Strong media-relations experience with examples of earned coverage secured.
• Experience sourcing, vetting, negotiating with, and managing influencers or creators.
• Strong writing skills across pitches, press releases, briefs, and client communications.
• Strong understanding of what makes a story newsworthy.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, deliverables, and timelines.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
• High level of ownership and comfort building processes where none currently exist.

Responsibilities

• Develop PR strategies tied to client business goals, launches, events, thought leadership, and brand visibility
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, producers, podcasters, trade media, and other relevant outlets
• Create targeted media lists and outreach plans
• Write and distribute pitches, press releases, media alerts, and supporting materials
• Secure earned-media opportunities, interviews, features, expert commentary, podcasts, and other relevant coverage
• Develop influencer strategies based on audience, brand fit, campaign goals, geography, and budget
• Source, vet, and recommend creators based on engagement quality, brand safety, audience fit, and performance potential
• Manage outreach, negotiations, contracts, deliverables, approvals, usage rights, timelines, and payment coordination
• Build workflows, SOPs, templates, outreach systems, and QA standards
• Translate client goals into PR, influencer, and partnership recommendations and build campaign plans, budgets, timelines, and deliverables
