Job summary

Wood is a global leader in engineering and project delivery for the energy sector. The Project Delivery Manager will lead planning, execution and delivery of power plant projects, ensuring safety, quality and on-time performance in line with client requirements, budget and schedule.

You will oversee multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, and process disciplines, manage risk and governance, and drive innovations and value for Wood and its clients in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (any discipline); PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (preferred).
• PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner.
• Relevant certifications in industrial project delivery or asset management.
• Minimum 15 years' experience in engineering and project management in the power generation or heavy industrial sector.
• Demonstrated experience delivering multi-disciplinary brownfield capital projects in coal-fired, gas, or equivalent thermal power plants.
• Proven track record managing Owner's Engineer or PMC-type engagements with multiple simultaneous workstreams.
• Strong background in stakeholder management, governance processes (MOC, IPGC, stage-gate reviews), and budget accountability.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, C&I, civil, and process engineering disciplines.
• Familiarity with Aboitiz Power or similar utility governance and reporting frameworks is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of power plant projects within budget and schedule.
• Oversee multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Report project progress to senior management and customers.
• Manage change, risk, and cost controls throughout the project.
• Ensure HSSE compliance and quality management during execution.
• Promote continuous improvement and value engineering across project lifecycles.
