ASCENDZE PTE. LTD. in Metro Manila, Philippines, seeks an experienced Senior PLC Programmer / Automation Control Engineer to design, develop, and commission automation systems for new machines.

The role requires hands-on PLC programming, motion control, robotics integration, and sensor applications. The ideal candidate will read electrical schematics, work across commissioning at customer sites, and travel domestically or overseas as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years hands-on PLC programming experience for NEW automation machines.
• Strong practical knowledge in Motion Control.
• Strong practical knowledge in Industrial Sensor Applications.
• Strong practical experience in Industrial Robotics Applications and Integration.
• Experience with major PLC platforms (Omron, Mitsubishi Electric, Inovance) and ability to develop, debug and commission automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PLC programs for new automation machines.
• Perform I/O checking, machine testing, debugging and commissioning.
• Develop and integrate motion control systems (servo, stepper, multi-axis).
• Select, configure and integrate industrial sensors for detection and measurement.
• Program and integrate industrial robots including robot I/O, positioning, PLC communication and safety interlocking.
• Develop and modify HMI programs.

Senior PLC Programmer / Automation Control Engineer

Salary: PHP 50,000–80,000/month + 13th Month Pay + Performance Bonus +

We are looking for an experienced PLC Programmer / Automation Control Engineer for the development and commissioning of new industrial automation machines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop PLC programs for new automation machines.

Perform I/O checking, machine testing, debugging and commissioning.

Develop and integrate motion control systems, including servo, stepper, positioning and multi-axis control.

Select, configure and integrate industrial sensors for machine detection and measurement applications.

Program and integrate industrial robots, including robot I/O, positioning, PLC communication and safety interlocking.

Develop and modify HMI programs.

Read and understand electrical schematics and control drawings.

Troubleshoot PLC, motion, sensor, robotic and electrical control problems.

Support machine installation and commissioning at customer sites.

Prepare machine documentation and provide technical training.

Mandatory Requirements

Minimum 3–4 years of hands‑on PLC programming experience developing NEW automation machines/equipment.

Strong practical knowledge and experience in Motion Control.

Strong practical knowledge and experience in Industrial Sensor Applications.

Strong practical experience in Industrial Robotics Applications and Integration.

Experience with Omron, Mitsubishi Electric, Inovance or other major industrial PLC platforms.

Able to independently develop, debug and commission automation machine control systems.

Able to read and understand electrical control drawings.

Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, Control Engineering or related discipline.

Good technical communication skills in English.

Willing to travel locally and overseas for machine installation and commissioning when required.

Important: This position requires actual hands‑on experience in developing and programming new automation equipment. Candidates whose experience is mainly equipment maintenance or minor modification of existing PLC programs may not be suitable.

PHP 50,000–65,000 monthly basic salary
