Job summary

Jacobs in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer to support Water projects. You will perform plant and piping design activities as part of a multidisciplinary taskforce, collaborating with designers and engineers using AP3D and CADWorx3D.

You will conduct self-quality checks of 3D modeling and piping deliverables, participate in design reviews and risk assessments, and assist in preparing proposals, scopes of work, schedules, and budgets for projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering.
• Experience in piping engineering/design within the chemical industry.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling using AP3D or CADWorx3D.
• Familiarity with Navisworks for reviews and clash detection.
• Knowledge of LEAN work practices and their application in project delivery.
• Experience in stress analysis (L1 SEP, L2 Simplified).
• Skilled in equipment layout, piping design, and pipe supports.
• Strong command of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Understanding of piping-specific design standards (minimum US/EU).
• Ability to collaborate with other disciplines, clients, and vendors at all levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience with laser scan-generated point clouds and field work is an advantage.
