Job summary

Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. in the Philippines seeks an experienced PCB Layout and Design Engineer to handle layout, design and routing of Schematics and PCBs for high-density switch-mode power conversion.

You will collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering and PCB vendors, using Cadence Allegro, Altium, SolidWorks and CAM350 to deliver robust power supply designs.

Qualifications

• BS degree in ECE, EE or COE.
• At least 3 years in PCB Layout, Schematics and Library Creation for high-density PMW/conversion.
• Experience with Cadence Allegro, Altium, SolidWorks and CAM350.
• Strong background in power supply design; RF is a plus.
• Team player in a multi-disciplinary environment with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Handle layout, design and routing of Schematics and PCB.
• Act on high-density PCB designs for switch-mode power conversion.
• Work on PCBs from few hundred watts to tens of kW power supplies.
• Layout digital control boards and liaise with engineers and vendors.
• Exercise judgement within defined procedures to determine action.
