Job summary

Ubiquity is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end U.S. payroll across multiple states and two global employees.

You will oversee pre-payroll audits, post-payroll reconciliations, and off-cycle adjustments, ensuring accuracy and on-time processing. You will apply strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll taxes, deductions, and compliance while partnering with People and Legal teams to address payroll implications when employees move jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of hands-on U.S. payroll experience, including full-cycle processing.
• Experience administering payroll for employees across multiple states and local jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll taxes, deductions, and compliance.
• Ability to perform payroll audits, reconciliations, and data validation.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving ability.
• Experience with a payroll outsourcing provider and related responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end administration and review of U.S. payroll for employees across states and 2 global employees.
• Manage off-cycle payrolls, manual payments, reversals, and corrections.
• Ensure timely, accurate payroll processing and post-payroll reconciliations.
• Stay current on payroll laws and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Support audits and provide payroll reports and control documentation.
• Collaborate with Accounting, HR, and Legal to address payroll implications in new jurisdictions.
