Job summary

Abbott Philippines is seeking an experienced Payroll Operations leader to manage bi-monthly payroll for both entities, validate inputs and ensure on-time delivery. You will maintain payroll calendars and drive process improvements including automation.

You will handle compliance with local statutory requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR), payroll accounting and variance analysis, vendor management, and insurance enrollment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of payroll experience.
• Experience coordinating with HR, Finance and Tax teams.
• Solid knowledge of local statutory requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).

Responsibilities

• Manage bi-monthly payroll for two entities and ensure error-free, on-time delivery.
• Validate payroll inputs including salary, incentives, deductions and statutory components.
• Maintain payroll calendars and drive process improvements and automation.
• Ensure compliance with Philippines statutory requirements and handle filings, remittances, and reporting.
• Manage payroll journal entries, accruals and GL reconciliations in collaboration with Finance.
• Validate vendor billing for payroll-related services and manage vendor relationships.
• Oversee insurance enrollment processes and ensure accurate dependent listings.
• Lead audits with minimal findings and maintain documentation and internal controls.
• Lead and develop two direct reports; coordinate with BHR, TA, Finance, Tax, Legal.
