Job summary

Boomering Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to own end-to-end payroll processing, with a focus on Australian requirements and Astute Payroll. The role supports a hybrid or work-from-home setup and offers a competitive PHP 80,000 monthly package.

You will operate with minimal supervision, ensure accurate timely payroll, handle data changes, and collaborate with internal stakeholders while upholding confidentiality and compliance across Australian awards and laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, ideally with Australian payroll exposure.
• Strong hands-on Astute Payroll experience – essential.
• End-to-end payroll processing in an Australian payroll environment.
• Knowledge of Australian payroll requirements and relevant employment legislation.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing accurately and within deadlines.
• Review and validate payroll data before processing and finalisation.
• Process employee payroll changes, adjustments, deductions and other transactions.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee queries promptly.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
• Ensure payroll activities comply with Australian awards, laws and agreements.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations, reporting and other administration.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information.
