Job summary

Boomering is a Cebu-based, ISO-certified BPO extending payroll services to Australia. We seek a Senior Payroll Officer in Angeles who will own end-to-end payroll processing using Astute Payroll and ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role supports a hybrid or work-from-home setup and requires strong Australia payroll knowledge. You will handle data validation, payroll changes, and inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with Australian laws and awards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, ideally within an Australian company or an international organisation supporting the Australian market.
• Demonstrated end-to-end payroll processing experience within an Australian payroll environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Australian payroll requirements and relevant employment legislation.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing accurately and within required deadlines.
• Use Astute Payroll confidently as part of day-to-day payroll operations.
• Review and validate payroll data before processing and finalisation.
• Process employee payroll changes, adjustments, deductions and other payroll-related transactions.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, errors and employee queries promptly.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and documentation.
• Ensure payroll activities comply with Australian legislation, awards and agreements.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations, reporting and other payroll administration as required.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll information.
• Identify payroll issues and resolve them, working with internal stakeholders when needed.
• Support continuous improvement of payroll processes and procedures.
