Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end payroll for internal staff, contractors, and consultants from the Global One, Eastwood site in Quezon City. The role operates on a hybrid day shift, offering comprehensive benefits and performance bonuses.

You will handle data integrity, month-end close, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with the Finance team to ensure timely, accurate payroll processing across multiple payrolls.

Qualifications

• High level of understanding in the payroll area.
• Conduct payroll analysis and reporting under instruction from senior managers.
• Review the payroll function to identify anomalies and trends.
• Expertise in the use of payroll software.
• Experience in dealing with compliance and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end payroll for internal staff, contractors, and consultants.
• Administer payroll data, maintain data tables, and ensure YTD reconciliation.
• Ensure accurate pay-runs, backups, and produced reports are stored.
• Support month-end payroll preparation and YTD reconciliation.
• Process payroll creditors (e.g., tax, superannuation, child support, etc.).
• Reconcile payroll-related GL accounts monthly with Finance.
• Complete year-end payroll activities within required timeframes.
• Assist in payroll audits as directed by Payroll Specialist / Group Financial Controller.
• Provide backup to Accounts team, including weekly billing and AP processing.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the end‑to‑end payroll function for Stellar, including monthly internal payroll, weekly contractor payroll, and consultant commissions
• Administer payroll data to ensure processes are correct, data tables are maintained, and data reconciles on a rolling YTD basis
• Ensure all pay‑runs are prepared accurately, backups are saved, and required reports are produced and stored
• Support payroll month‑end preparation and processing, ensuring payroll data reconciles YTD
• Process payroll creditors such as PAYG, Superannuation, Child Support, and IRD payments
• Reconcile all payroll‑related GL accounts each month with the Finance Team
• Reconcile and execute payroll year‑end within the required timeframes
• Assist in payroll audits of employee contracts as directed by Payroll Specialist / Group Financial Controller
• Provide backup and coverage for the Accounts Team when required, including weekly billing and AP invoice processing
