Set Up: Full Onsite
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Time: Night Shift (US hours; shifting depends on business needs)
Location: Eastwood, Metro Manila
Reports To: Payroll Manager
About the role
TGO is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to run end-to-end US payroll for Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) clients and other client accounts in several states. Most of the work is California payroll. The role also covers clients in Texas, Florida, New York and other states. You will own the full payroll cycle in ADP Workforce Now, from time and attendance through disbursement, reconciliation and reporting. You will also keep each client compliant with federal, state and local wage and hour laws.
Key responsibilities
- Run the full payroll cycle in ADP Workforce Now: collect and approve timecards, sync time and attendance, process payroll, review it and disburse pay
- Handle time and attendance exceptions (missed punches, unapproved overtime, PTO discrepancies) before payroll is finalized, using a set manager-approval process with a clear audit trail
- Process complex pay runs that include new hires, terminations, retro pay changes, bonuses and off-cycle payments in the same cycle
- Fix payroll errors found after time data has synced, using off-cycle runs and retro adjustments without causing tax or reporting problems later
- Reconcile every payroll before it is finalized: gross-to-net, tax withholdings, deduction totals and headcount
- Keep payroll compliant with California wage and hour law, including daily and weekly overtime and double time, meal and rest break premium pay, final pay timing for terminations and resignations, CA SDI and paid sick leave
- Manage New York requirements, including Wage Theft Prevention Act notices, pay frequency rules for manual workers, and NY SDI/PFL
- Process payroll for Texas, Florida and other states, including state unemployment insurance registration and local rules
- Handle employees who work in more than one state or move mid-year, including reciprocity agreements, split-state W-2 reporting and state tax ID setup
- Calculate and process garnishments (child support, tax levies, student loans) following federal and state limits and priority rules
About you
- At least 5 years of US payroll experience, with at least 2 years handling payroll in several states
- Extensive hands‑on experience with ADP Workforce Now, including Time & Attendance and how it connects to payroll
- Strong working knowledge of California wage and hour law, plus payroll rules for NY, TX and FL
- Experience processing payroll for hourly, high‑volume workforces
- Hands‑on ADP configuration experience (tax jurisdictions, earning and deduction codes), not only data entry
- Experience with garnishments, retro pay, off‑cycle runs and multi‑state tax reporting
- Very accurate, with a structured, checklist-based way of reviewing and reconciling payroll
- Able to manage several client accounts and tight deadlines at the same time
- Excellent written and verbal English for communicating with US clients
