Job summary

Dexcom Philippines is seeking a highly experienced Staff Database Administrator (DBA) to lead Oracle EBS and Oracle database administration across enterprise systems. The role emphasizes performance tuning, high availability, security, and DR planning, with on-call duties aligned to US/EMEA hours and support across APAC regions.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 8+ years of relevant experience, with certifications like Oracle DBA being a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 8–12 years of progressive DBA experience with Oracle DB/EBS
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL scripting abilities
• Experience with RAC, ASM, Data Guard and Oracle EBS database administration
• Familiarity with data security, encryption, auditing, and access controls

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, administer, and support Oracle databases including EBS R12
• Tune and monitor Oracle EBS database performance and scripts
• Manage Oracle EBS application tier and concurrent processing workflows
• Implement backup/DR (RMAN, Data Guard) and ensure high availability
• Collaborate with global teams across APAC/EMEA/US and provide on-call support
