Job summary

Dexcom Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Staff Database Administrator (DBA) to lead our enterprise Oracle EBS, Oracle Database, and Oracle Linux environment.

You will design, implement, and optimize database platforms across Oracle EBS and related components. The role requires hands-on expertise in performance tuning, backup/recovery (RMAN/Data Guard), and 24x7 support, with on-call rotations aligned to US/EMEA business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of progressive experience in database administration across Oracle Database (19c+), RAC/ASM, Data Guard, and Oracle EBS.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL scripting skills.
• Deep understanding of database architecture, indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, administer, and support multiple database platforms: Oracle (including EBS R12).
• Expert on Oracle EBS database performance tuning, operation, monitoring, and scripting.
• Manage Oracle EBS application tier including troubleshooting concurrent manager jobs and Apps printer configurations.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions using RMAN, Data Guard, etc.
