Job summary

Dexcom Philippines is seeking a highly experienced Staff Database Administrator (DBA) to lead Oracle EBS, Oracle DB, and Oracle Linux environments across APAC, EMEA, and US time zones. The role emphasizes reliability, scalability, security, and on-call support for critical systems.

The candidate should have 8+ years in database administration, strong SQL/PL-SQL skills, and experience with RMAN, Data Guard, and Oracle EBS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• 8+ years of progressive database administration experience.
• Experience with Oracle Database, EBS, RAC, ASM, Data Guard (19c).
• Strong SQL/PL-SQL scripting skills.
• Knowledge of data security, auditing, and access controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, administer, and support Oracle/EBS database environments.
• Tune and monitor Oracle EBS performance; manage application tier.
• Handle database refreshes, patching, and cloning.
• Ensure high availability, backups, and disaster recovery (RMAN, Data Guard).
• Respond to incidents and support on-call rotations across global time zones.
• Collaborate with Development and DBA teams for deployments and optimization.
