Job summary

Dexcom Inc. in Manila, Philippines is seeking a highly experienced Staff Database Administrator (DBA) to lead enterprise database management, reliability, and security across business-critical systems.

You will design, implement, and support Oracle Database and EBS platforms, optimize performance, manage DR, backups, and patching, and collaborate with global teams. The role requires 8+ years in Oracle EBS DB administration, strong SQL/PL/SQL, and on-call coverage including US shift during

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive DBA experience with Oracle Database (RAC, ASM, Data Guard) and Oracle EBS.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL scripting skills.
• Experience in database performance tuning, monitoring, and backup/recovery (RMAN, Data Guard).
• Ability to design, configure, administer, and support Oracle EBS database platforms.
• Knowledge of data security, encryption, auditing, and access controls.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to lead complex projects.
• Willingness to work US shift and on-call rotations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or related field (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, administer, and support Oracle databases including EBS.
• Tune Oracle EBS performance; manage concurrent manager jobs.
• Handle database refreshes, patching, and DR planning.
• Ensure security, governance, and change control.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support across regions.
