Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead contract delivery across hard and soft services, drive operational excellence, and ensure client satisfaction and contract profitability.

You will oversee budgets, build strong relationships with clients and suppliers, manage large multidisciplinary teams, and push continuous improvement, safety compliance, and digitalization initiatives across multiple contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience with leadership responsibilities, contract management, preferably in Facility Services.
• Experience partnering with operations teams in Facilities Management, Engineering, Services, or related industries.

Job Overview:

Senior Operations Manager position is responsible for the overall management and leadership of the contracts, ensures the successful delivery of services, achievement of operational excellence, client satisfaction and contract profitability, reporting directly to the General Manager/Country Manager of the company and being a key member of the growth of the business.

It is essential for the role to have a background on running a day-to-day operations of a Facility Services business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the operational delivery of Hard and Soft Services across assigned contracts.
• Ensure achievement of contractual KPIs, service quality standards and client expectations.
• Manage budgets, profitability and overall contract performance.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary operational teams.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation and digitalization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, labor and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, grow existing contracts and expand services.

Essential Functions:

• Build key relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Oversee the quality of services at client sites.
• Direct and manage a large group of junior management and supervisory staff.
• Detailed budget management on an ongoing basis.
• Achieve operational excellence for the contracts.

Required Skills And Competencies:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience, including leadership responsibilities, commercial/contract management, preferably in Facility Services industry and experience in running and managing output based contracts.
• Experience partnering with operational teams in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction, Services, or related industries.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• In-depth knowledge of Facility Services (hard and soft services), related to productivity and best practices.
• Knowledge of Soft Services accreditation requirements and Environmentally Friendly operations is an asset.
• Knowledge of local labor, health and safety, and other relevant laws related to lean delivery.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills when dealing with clients.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, to address concerns, conflicts and ongoing requirements of the Client Contracts.
• Advanced skills in leading and working in multicultural and large operational environment.
• Able to handle a fast paced, highly ethical work environment.
• Able to make decisions in and independent manner within company and contractual requirements, and with a view for the overall good of the Company and the Clients.
• Able to write/discuss/propose recommendations for improvement.
• Able to write succinct reports and undertake analysis of key performance indicators.
