Job summary

Stratpoint is seeking talented Mid to Senior Backend Software Engineers to join our engineering team. You will build secure, scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, integrating with frontend apps and multiple data sources. Hybrid work model with collaborative office spaces and strong governance.

You will design and implement high-performance backend systems, mentor peers, and participate in on-call rotations while staying current with backend trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years backend development with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs; GraphQL a plus.
• Strong unit testing with Jest or Mocha.
• Version control with Git; Agile/Scrum experience.
• Familiar with microservices and Serverless architectures.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and implementation of high-performance backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Implement secure, modular, scalable backend features.
• Integrate multiple endpoints, data sources, and databases.
• Develop and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs following best practices.
• Ensure security and data protection at all levels.
• Write comprehensive unit/integration tests (Jest/Mocha).
• Optimize backend performance and data schemas for business processes.
• Contribute to API versioning and deprecation policies.
• Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD and deployment.
