Job summary

Stratpoint Technologies Inc. seeks talented mid- to senior-level Backend Software Engineers to join a dynamic team. You will develop secure, scalable backend systems in Node.js and TypeScript, collaborating with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver robust APIs and integrations.

You will implement best practices for security, modularity, and performance, mentor juniors, and participate in on-call rotations while staying current with backend trends and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; equivalent work exp accepted.
• 2+ years backend development with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of backend build/config tools and package managers.
• Experience creating RESTful APIs; GraphQL desirable.
• Experience with Jest or Mocha for unit testing; Git for version control.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum; knowledge of microservices and serverless is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance, secure backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements.
• Implement scalable REST and GraphQL APIs ensuring integration with frontend.
• Enable secure data handling, and maintainability across services.
• Write unit and integration tests and optimize backend performance.
• Maintain API versioning, CI/CD processes, and documentation.
