Job summary

BairesDev is hiring a Backend Engineer (Node) to design and maintain server-side apps in Node.js, building scalable APIs and event-driven services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implementing REST and GraphQL APIs with TypeScript and integrating PostgreSQL or MongoDB, deployed on AWS Lambda or ECS.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Backend/Software Engineering experience.
• Proven expertise in building scalable APIs and event-driven services with Node.js/TypeScript.
• Experience designing REST or GraphQL APIs with asynchronous patterns.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB and cloud deployment (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable REST and GraphQL APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build and optimize event-driven services and asynchronous processing patterns.
• Manage and interact with database systems such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB for data integrity and performance.
• Deploy and maintain cloud-based services using AWS Lambda or ECS.
• Write unit and integration tests using Jest or Vitest to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and technical specs.
