Job summary

V2 Solutions in the Philippines is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across backend systems, mentoring a growing team, and owning architectural direction for our core SaaS platforms built in TypeScript.

You will drive performance, security, and scalable data processing, design robust APIs (REST/GraphQL), and guide deployments on AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes, and IaC. This role blends hands-on coding with strategic oversight and client-facing consulting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in CS/SE or related field.
6–8+ years of software engineering experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
Strong knowledge of NestJS/Express/Fastify.
Experience with DDD, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
Database expertise in PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
DevOps skills with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and scaling of core SaaS backend systems.
Define architecture and API designs (REST/GraphQL) and event-driven integrations.
Mentor engineers and lead cross-team architecture initiatives.
Ensure performance, security, and type safety.
Own deployment strategies on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
