Stratpoint Technologies in the Philippines seeks talented Mid to Senior Backend Software Engineers to join our engineering team. You will contribute to backend development, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure secure, scalable backend systems that integrate with various services.

You will design and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs using Node.js and TypeScript, implement tests with Jest or Mocha, participate in on-call rotations, mentor junior engineers, and help drive security,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience, focused on Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience creating RESTful APIs; GraphQL API experience is highly desirable.
• Proficient with unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha) and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with microservices and serverless architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with product, design, frontend and backend engineers to translate requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and secure REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests with Jest or Mocha.
• Mentor junior backend engineers and participate in code reviews.
• Handle on-call rotations and production incident response.
