Job summary

Encora is a leading digital engineering partner with a global footprint, delivering scalable software solutions across industries. The role focuses on building secure, scalable backend systems in financial tech contexts, aligning with frontend and SRE teams to ensure reliability and performance.

The engineer will design and implement APIs, participate in architecture discussions, and contribute to deployment pipelines while maintaining best practices and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT Industry.
• Domain experience within Invest areas (stocks, crypto, funds) for bank or fintech.
• Hands on experience with TDD, OOP, FP and software design patterns.
• Familiar with Amazon Web Services / Cloud.
• Good exposure in CI/CD adoption.
• Strong back end with AI knowledge and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, deploy, monitor and maintain software engineering applications.
• Active participation in code reviews and production deployments.
• Translate project requirements into technical design.
• Collaborate with frontend and other backend teams to support platform needs.
• Coordinate with SRE teams to ensure scalable, easy deployment and maintenance.
• Build reusable APIs for internal and external use.
• Document standard practices adopted in the platform.
• Engage in team-building and recruitment activities.
