SCALABLE OS CORP. seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise and datacenter networks.

You will serve as a senior technical resource for high-availability environments, handling complex issues and optimization projects. The role emphasizes hands-on routing/switching, BGP, Juniper EX/QFX, SRX appliances, and network security, with opportunities to automate and improve operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years hands-on network engineering experience.
• Strong routing and switching expertise.
• Proficiency with Juniper networking technologies (EX/QFX, SRX).
• Solid understanding of BGP and large-scale datacenter networks.
• Experience with network security principles and high-availability environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise and datacenter network infrastructure.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex network issues.
• Configure routing and switching across production environments.
• Deploy and manage BGP sessions across WAN and datacenters.
• Configure Juniper EX/QFX switches and SRX appliances.
• Provision network services including firewalls and tunnels.
• Troubleshoot incidents minimizing customer impact.
• Collaborate with internal teams, providers and partners.
• Participate in upgrades, capacity planning, and expansions.
• Support network upgrades and new locations.
• Follow CAB processes and change management.
• Monitor performance, availability, and utilization.
• Maintain network diagrams and docs.
• Stay current with networking technologies and best practices.
• Contribute to automation using scripting where applicable.
