Qualifications

• Master/Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Network Engineer (carrier/ISP preferred)
• Knowledge of firewalls; Fortinet is an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, and security
• Hands-on with Cisco/Juniper networks (focus on Juniper)
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, JNCIE, NSE 4/6/8 advantageous
• Independent, solution-oriented, reliable working style
• Cross-functional collaboration with national and international partners

Responsibilities

• Further development of the backbone network
• Operational management, maintenance, and service work on the backbone
• Monitoring, fault analysis, and troubleshooting (2nd/3rd level)
• Project design and configuration of customized customer services
• Ensuring backbone and access network optimization and design

The Senior Network Engineer role demands extensive technical proficiency in networking and information technology, coupled with robust team player skills and customer-centric focus. This position involves engaging with customers primarily in the corporate and high corporate market segments, as well as internal teams, to swiftly troubleshoot and resolve network issues.

Responsibilities

• Further development of the backbone network
• Operational management, maintenance, and service work (changes) on the backbone
• Monitoring, fault analysis, and troubleshooting in daily business (2nd and 3rd level support)
• Project management, design, and configuration of customized customer services
• Ensuring the optimization and design of the backbone and access network
• Providing technical support to other departments in project implementation
• Independent communication with national and international partners and suppliers

Qualifications

• Master/Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or any related course
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Senior Network Engineer (preferably in a carrier/ISP environment)
• Knowledge of firewalls (Fortinet is an advantage)
• In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, and security
• Practical experience with network systems from Cisco/Juniper (focus on Juniper)
• Experience with network management systems, monitoring tool and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, JNCIE, NSE 4, NSE 6, NSE 8 are advantageous
