Job summary

CallTek is seeking a highly skilled Level 3 Technical Support Engineer to lead advanced network troubleshooting and optimization in hospitality settings. You will work across Mikrotik, Aruba, Ruckus, Cambium and Fortinet environments, handling complex VLANs, ACLs, routing, and security configurations.

The role requires mentoring junior staff and driving network improvements. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in network support/engineering with strong hands-on expertise and excellent communication

Qualifications

• 5+ years in network support or engineering with 2+ years in an L3/senior role.
• Hands-on expertise in VLANs, ACLs, routing, switching, NAT and firewall policies.
• Wireless network design and troubleshooting.
• Experience with MikroTik, Aruba, Ruckus, Cambium and Fortinet.
• Hospitality or high-density guest networks experience.
• Familiarity with walled garden configurations and captive portals.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication for customer and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues across LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and security systems.
• Handle escalations involving VLANs, routing, switching, firewall rules, and segmentation.
• Troubleshoot performance, latency, and connectivity disruptions.
• Configure and maintain network devices: switches, access points, and firewalls.
• Perform advanced configurations: VLANs, trunking, ACLs, QoS, firewall policies.
• Support headend equipment configuration and optimization.
• Provide expert-level multi-vendor support across MikroTik, Aruba, Ruckus, Cambium, Fortinet.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for stability.
• Document networks, diagrams, and troubleshooting guides; mentor L1/L2 engineers.
• Drive process improvements and automation in network operations.
