Job summary

CallTek is seeking a Level 3 Technical Support Engineer with deep experience in network infrastructure, focusing on hospitality environments. You will lead complex troubleshooting, configuration, and optimization of wired and wireless systems across multi-vendor platforms.

The role emphasizes hands-on VLANs, routing, switching, firewall policies, and guest network security. Strong collaboration with vendors and cross-team support are essential in Cebu.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network support or network engineering, with at least 2 years in an L3 or senior role.
• Hands-on expertise in VLANs, ACLs, routing, switching, NAT, and firewall policies.
• Experience with MikroTik, Aruba, Ruckus, Cambium, Fortinet switches and firewalls.
• Experience supporting hospitality or high-density guest network environments.
• Familiarity with walled garden configurations and captive portals.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for customer and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues across LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, and security systems.
• Configure and maintain network devices: switches, APs, and firewalls; implement VLANs, ACLs, QoS, and firewall rules.
• Provide expert level support for MikroTik, Aruba, Ruckus, Cambium, Fortinet platforms.
• Perform deep root cause analyses and implement long-term fixes.
• Support hospitality networks, guest portals, and staff networks; manage access controls.
• Monitor network health and security; proactively prevent outages or degradation.
• Coordinate with vendors for advanced troubleshooting; document resolutions.
• Maintain detailed network diagrams and troubleshooting guides; mentor L1/L2 engineers.
• Evaluate workflows and drive automation improvements.
