Job summary

Tasq Work in Alabang, Metro Manila is seeking an experienced network professional to join our IT ops team. The role requires hands-on networking expertise, Cisco devices, and CCNA/CCNP certifications, with a willingness to work shifting schedules and be onsite.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, engineering or related field.
At least 4 years hands-on networking experience (firewalls, routing, switching).
Expertise with CISCO devices and related hardware.
Strong leadership, ownership, and delivery focus.
A customer-service mindset and ability to work with global IT teams.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, telecoms, and cloud tech.
Experience in Incident Management and LAN/WAN management.
Familiarity with Cisco switches, routers and firewalls.
Proficient in troubleshooting IT setups.
CCNA and CCNP certifications (active or recently expired), mandatory.
Ability to work in shifting schedules and onsite at Alabang (US shifts).
Immediate start preferred.

Responsibilities

Procurement: collect requirements and raise BOM to pricing team.
Service Transition: migrations and upgrades per plan.
Service Delivery & Support: assist teams with 2nd-level incidents.
Availability & Continuity: monitor backups and redundancy; capacity data.
Service Level Management & Reporting: escalate, report, coordinate with providers.
Supplier Management: engage external vendors and address escalations.
Security Management: implement actions from security alerts.
Incident and Problem Management: RCA and SLA targets.
Change & Release Management: CMDB updates and release activities.
Service Improvement: identify and drive improvements.
Communication: provide updates on service delivery and maintenance.
Talent Management: training and certification for career development.
Knowledge Management: create self-help docs and FAQs.
IT Asset Management: manage IT assets throughout lifecycle.
Quality Assurance & Compliance: ensure QA and audits.
Business Continuity: participate in BCMS drills and reporting.
Organizational Initiatives: support IT infrastructure projects for service owners.
