Job summary

Home Credit Philippines is seeking a Senior Network Specialist to keep our network infrastructure up-to-date and highly available. You will design, implement, and maintain core network systems across multiple sites, coordinating with IT teams to ensure reliable services for enterprise operations.

You will conduct routine monitoring, implement improvements, and support security and architecture teams. A minimum of 5 years in network roles is required with strong TCP/IP, VPN, and firewall

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Network Administrator/Specialist role.
• Solid knowledge of DNS and SNMP.
• Strong TCP/IP fundamentals and common network protocols (MPLS, IPv6, OSPF, BGP).
• Experience with VPN, IPSec, and GRE tunneling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer computer networks and related environments.
• Design and implement network solutions and improve current networks.
• Install, configure, and maintain core network systems and devices.
• Conduct routine inspections and performance tuning for network systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to provide necessary assistance.
• Define needs, analyze benefits, and recommend technical strategy.
• Monitor daily network health and availability of equipment.
• Coordinate with IT Architect, Security, Helpdesk, and Support teams.

Job description

Senior Network Specialist is responsible for keeping an organization's computer network up-to-date and operating as intended. Any company or organization that uses multiple computers or software platforms needs a network specialist to coordinate and connect the different systems. Served as 2nd level to support enterprise and Business operations. That include maintaining and managing Network infrastructure uptime and availability. Also, to ensure that all Network related services are effectively deliver.

What you will do:

• Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
• Designing and implementing network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
• Installs, configures, and maintains network core systems, switches, routers, Ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems.
• Conducts routine inspection and audit of network systems, software, internet, links, and tools to ensure regular performance tuning and maintenance of systems and usage monitoring.
• Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure
• Cooperates with the group IT teams and provides them with the necessary assistance
• Define needs, benefits analysis and recommend technical strategy
• Performs daily system monitoring, verifying integrity and availability of all network equipment.
• Close cooperation with IT Architect, IT Security, Helpdesk and Technical Support Team.

What You Need To Have:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Network Administrator / Specialist role
• Technical Skills:
• Solid Knowledge of networking protocols such Domain Name Server (DNS), Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)
• Experience working with network systems and networking principles, data, voice, or video.
• Solid Knowledge in TCP\IP Fundamentals and commonly used network protocols (MPLS, IPv6, OSPF, BGP), IPSec, VPN, and GRE Tunneling.
• Experience with network risk analysis, modeling, and back-up administration functions.
• Experience creating test plans, procedures, and reports for testing of network equipment office and remote sites.
• Demonstrate experience and /or Background with Network analysis tools or Monitoring Platforms (Wireshark, Nagios, Cacti, Solar winds, LibreNms, Etc.).
• Knowledge and Experience in Checkpoint firewall administration.
• Knowledge and Experience in F5 load balancer administration.
