Job summary

SM Retail in Metro Manila is seeking a Building Admin Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance, operation, and improvement of building facilities across multiple locations. You will ensure that facilities are safe, efficient, compliant, and performing at their best by managing building systems, maintenance teams, and service providers, with regular site visits and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• PRC Licensed
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in building facilities management, engineering operations, property management, or maintenance management.
• Proven experience managing building systems and facility operations.
• Experience handling multiple sites, branches, or commercial facilities is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and security systems.
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers, and maintenance teams.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to conduct regular site visits and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building facilities operations, maintenance activities, and technical services across multiple branches/sites.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure reliability and minimize facility downtime.
• Manage building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, and other related facilities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and facility assessments to identify maintenance requirements and improvement opportunities.
• Lead and supervise maintenance teams, contractors, and external service providers.
• Manage vendor performance, service contracts, and maintenance agreements.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Monitor facility performance, maintenance costs, and operational efficiency.
• Provide recommendations for facility upgrades, repairs, and improvement initiatives.
• Support renovation, expansion, and other building-related projects as needed.
