Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Compute Platform SRE to support its Compute Managed Services project. The role focuses on keeping systems healthy with 24x7 monitoring, incident management, and cross-cloud operations across GCP, AWS, and Azure.

The candidate will lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve observability, automate processes, and ensure compliance while delivering high-quality compute services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in SRE/DevOps.
• At least 1 year of team leadership experience.
• Experience with GCP, AWS, and Azure cloud platforms.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux OS administration.
• Hands-on with Ansible, Terraform, Python and Bash.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous 24x7 monitoring of compute platforms and manage incidents and problems.
• Execute repaving, change management, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Ensure security, vulnerability management and certificate lifecycle compliance.
• Handle service requests, configuration updates, and audit data extracts.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for infrastructure operations.
• Collaborate on automation improvements and drive service enhancements.
