Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines seeks a seasoned Merchandising Leader to develop and execute buying strategies across store locations and online channels. You will drive assortment planning, supplier negotiations, and category performance to ensure products meet timing and price targets.

You will lead a team in sourcing, inventory management, and category management, collaborating with Marketing and Operations on promotions and launches to optimize sales and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years in merchandising, buying, or category management, with 2 years in leadership.
• Strong commercial, analytical and negotiation skills driving category growth.
• Experience in merchandise planning, inventory management and supplier relations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with merchandising systems.
• Leadership, communication and stakeholder management in fast-paced retail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies to achieve sales, margin, and business growth targets.
• Manage assortment planning, product selection, and category performance across retail and e-commerce channels.
• Lead and develop the buying team in sourcing, supplier negotiations, and category management.
• Analyze sales, inventory, and market trends to identify opportunities, improve performance, and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Operations teams to execute promotions, seasonal campaigns, and product launches.
• Manage supplier relationships and inventory productivity to ensure competitive pricing, healthy stock levels, and timely product availability.
