Job summary

SM Supermalls is seeking a capable Facilities Engineer to supervise MEPFS operations across mall properties in the Philippines. The role focuses on maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and sanitary systems in line with engineering standards and safety regulations.

The candidate should hold a PRC license in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with at least 3 years in facilities/property management and 2 years in environmental management (DENR/LLDA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
• PRC licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
• 3+ years in Building/Facilities/Property Management
• 2+ years in Environmental Management (DENR/LLDA)
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

• Supervise operation, repair, and maintenance of MEPFS equipment and systems
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and government regulations
• Review tenant MEPFS plans and monitor renovation/construction activities for compliance
• Manage preventive maintenance activities, contractors, and engineering projects
• Monitor mall utilities such as water and electricity consumption and recommend improvements
• Act as Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and ensure compliance with DENR environmental requirements, permits, and reports
