Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
• PE or CEng or equivalent accreditation preferred.
• Extensive experience in mechanical design and project delivery within data centres, mission-critical facilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, chilled water systems, cooling infrastructure, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Experience leading technical reviews and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM platforms, and related engineering software.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working on regional or international hyperscale data centre projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the review and coordination of mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection system designs.
• Provide technical leadership for data centre and critical infrastructure projects throughout the design lifecycle.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues and drive project outcomes.
• Conduct design reviews, technical assessments, and engineering studies to identify optimisation opportunities, risks, and solutions.
• Ensure alignment across multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, controls, civil, and structural engineering.
• Support project teams in managing quality, cost, schedule, and technical compliance requirements.
• Review engineering documentation, specifications, BIM models, and project deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering standards, design quality, and operational performance.

Requirements
