Job summary

PM Consulting is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to own the design of HVAC, cooling, fire protection, and related mechanical systems for data centers and mission-critical facilities. You will collaborate with electrical, structural, ICT, and architectural teams to ensure integrated designs and reliable operation.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and familiarity with ASHRAE and NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in consulting or mission-critical facilities.
• Experience in data center or complex infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, cooling, fire protection, and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and engineering for data centers and mission-critical facilities.
• Perform and review thermal, airflow, and sizing calculations.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, ICT, architectural, and other disciplines for integration.
• Provide technical leadership on equipment selection, system configuration, and standards.
• Review designs from external consultants, contractors, and suppliers for compliance.
• Support testing, commissioning, and acceptance of mechanical systems.
• Resolve design issues and provide recommendations during construction.
