Job summary

You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, perform hydraulic design tasks, and ensure compliance with Australian standards throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires overseeing stakeholder relationships, design reviews, and mentoring junior engineers, with a hybrid work arrangement and a focus on quality and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in hydraulic design for building services.
• Experience delivering mechanical building services in a consultancy.

About Us

Our client is a growing Australian engineering consultancy delivering a range of engineering projects across multiple sectors. As the business continues to expand, they are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to support project delivery, coordinate stakeholders, manage fee proposals, and provide administrative oversight across the project portfolio.

This role is ideal for someone with an engineering background who enjoys both project coordination and client-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading mechanical design and delivery across a variety of building services projects
• Coordinating mechanical services with other disciplines, consultants and contractors
• Heat load calculations, equipment selection and system sizing
• Managing stakeholder relationships across the full project lifecycle
• Ensuring designs comply with relevant Australian standards, codes and project requirements
• Conducting design reviews and quality assurance checks to maintain technical standards
• Attending site inspections and resolving technical issues
• Mentoring and supporting junior and intermediate engineers
• Managing project deliverables, priorities and deadlines

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Experience in hydraulic (plumbing) design
• Proven experience delivering mechanical building services projects within a consultancy environment
• Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam or any other similar software.

Core Competencies:

• A quality-driven approach, with close attention to detail across the project lifecycle
• Confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday (6am - 3pm MNL time)

Must Have atleast 50mbps internet connection

Must be wiling to work (Hybrid)
