Job summary

XP Power in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Design Engineer to lead mechanical design and development of power supply products from concept to mass production. You will provide technical leadership, solve complex problems, and collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years of design, sustaining, manufacturing, or testing on industrial products with thermal management.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and AUTOCAD for MCAD tasks.
• Experience with BOM creation, ECN/EA processes, and DFMA.
• Strong English communication and willingness to travel.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft 365 tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical architecture and detailed design of power supply enclosures and sub-assemblies.
• Perform thermal and structural simulations using SolidWorks Flow Simulation and SolidWorks Simulation.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers to optimize PCB placement and EMI shielding.
• Create detailed mechanical layouts, BOMs, and fabrication drawings.
• Manage ECR, ECO, ECN, and other change workflows.
• Ensure compliance with engineering principles, procedures, safety, and standards.
• Support cross-functional teams from development to mass production.
