Job summary

XP Power LLC is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their Product Development department in the Philippines. This role involves performing tests and experiments to support design confirmations, troubleshooting power supplies, and ensuring product quality.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in testing SMPS power supply. Strong communication and technical writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have a minimum of a Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Knowledge of key components for SMPS circuit and topologies.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in testing SMPS power supply.
• Understanding of product development lifecycle.
• Failure Analysis and Critical Thinking.
• Good Technical writing capability.

• Presentation skill and Time Management.

Responsibilities

• To perform tests and experiments as needed to support and confirm the design with test report.
• Alternative components evaluation and generate test reports.
• Troubleshoot power supplies to identify root cause and provide feedback to Quality, Manufacturing & Design teams.
• EMC and thermal testing with report.
• Supporting on equipment annual calibration and general housekeeping.
