Job summary

Asia Select, Inc. is seeking a senior Materials Planning Manager to oversee planning, inventory control, procurement, and warehouse support to ensure timely material availability and uninterrupted production schedules.

You will drive supplier management, data integrity, and process improvements while aligning material plans with operational objectives and cross-functional teams in a cross-cultural environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• At least 10 years of supervisory or managerial experience in materials planning and control in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP, inventory management, procurement, and production planning.
• Experience managing end-to-end supplier lifecycles, including accreditation and performance monitoring.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead process improvements to enhance planning accuracy and inventory efficiency.
• Willing to undertake overseas assignments (Vietnam) in a cross-cultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, validation, and execution of material requirements plans based on schedules and demand.
• Ensure timely material availability and proactively manage supply risks and constraints.
• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels with accuracy and controls.
• Manage procurement activities and supplier relationships for cost-effective supply.
• Coordinate with QA and stakeholders to ensure materials meet specs and quality standards.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee warehouse support to ensure efficient material movement and inventory control.
• Ensure the integrity of materials data, records, and management reporting.
• Strengthen materials management procedures and operational policies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for planning accuracy, inventory optimization, and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, and other departments to align material plans with requirements.
• Provide analysis, recommendations, and reports on inventory performance and supply risks.
