Job summary

RTX, through Pratt & Whitney, invites applications for a Materials Planning Specialist in Tanauan City, Batangas, Philippines. You will participate in SIOP processes, develop standardized planning methods, and help forecast demand to optimize resources and meet customer delivery expectations.

You will collaborate with product development, sales, and manufacturing teams, track performance metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to EH&S standards across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficient.
• Excellent understanding of ERP systems (E1, JDE, or SAP).
• Strong written and verbal communication and reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in developing strategies for materials planning and SIOP.
• Participates in the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP in order to optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery.
• Supports the development of indicators that enable visibility to short and long-term market trends and demand.
• Identifies appropriate demand streams and supports in establishing data relationship linkages.
• May work with product development leaders and sales and marketing teams to develop demand forecasts.
• Supports in planning capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations.
• May work with manufacturing team and participates in the development of monthly production volume planning using the Business forecast, inventory position, actual customer orders, and the defined capacity parameters.
• Participates in identifying and developing new technologies to improve materials planning and SIOP capability and sustainability.
• May be responsible for tracking appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement.
• Supports in the development of processes and plans to improve supply capabilities.
• Participates in establishing clear and robust metrics to measure progress through process improvements for SIOP.
• Adheres to and participates in all EH&S practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.
