Job summary

RTX, a leader in aerospace and defense, seeks a materials planning and SIOP professional in the Philippines. The role supports demand forecasting, capacity planning, and the optimization of resources across the supply chain.

You will collaborate with product development, sales and manufacturing to drive timely delivery and efficiency. The position requires a degree in a relevant field, at least two years of experience, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (E1/JDE/SAP).

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (E1, JDE or SAP).
• Excellent written and verbal communication and reasoning skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participates in developing strategies for materials planning and SIOP.
• Participates in the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP in order to optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery.
• Supports the development of indicators that enable visibility to short and long-term market trends and demand.
• Identifies appropriate demand streams and supports in establishing data relationship linkages.
• May work with product development leaders and sales and marketing teams to develop demand forecasts.
• Supports in planning capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations.
• May work with manufacturing team and participates in the development of monthly production volume planning using the Business forecast, inventory position, actual customer orders, and the defined capacity parameters.
• Participates in identifying and developing new technologies to improve materials planning and SIOP capability and sustainability.
• May be responsible for tracking appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement.
• Supports in the development of processes and plans to improve supply capabilities.
• Participates in establishing clear and robust metrics to measure progress through process improvements for SIOP.
• Adheres to and participates in all EH&S practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any Bachelor’s / College Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Studies/Administration/ Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficient.
• Excellent understanding on ERP system (E1,JDE or SAP)
• Strong written and verbal communication and reasoning skills.
