Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management Inc. is seeking a seasoned Materials & Supply Chain Leader to oversee supplier accreditation, procurement, inbound logistics, and warehouse management for all raw materials and packaging materials.

You will ensure that high-quality materials are sourced, transported, stored efficiently, and issued to the production team to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. The role requires 10+ years in material management and a managerial role, with strong knowledge of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or Logistics.
• At least 10 years of experience in material management, supply chain, procurement, inventory, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• At least 10 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in a manufacturing company, preferably food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of material planning, inventory management, procurement, warehousing, and supplier management.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier accreditation, procurement, inbound logistics, and warehouse management for all raw materials and packaging materials.
• Ensure materials are sourced, transported, stored efficiently, and issued to production to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and material requirements.
• Manage minimum, maximum, and safety stock levels.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
