Job summary

Dyson Philippines seeks a highly skilled Lead Manufacturing Quality Engineer to oversee quality in new product delivery and continuous improvement for mature products. You will lead QA activities, drive risk management, and ensure GMP compliance across design and manufacturing while coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of QMS standards, and experience in consumer electronics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role or relevant technical roles within a product development environment.
• Experience in the consumer electronics or technology industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA activities for new products ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13495, FDA 21 CFR Part 820.
• Oversee design input, verification and validation activities, design transfer, and lifecycle management.
• Drive risk management, design quality and process quality throughout the product life cycle.
• Represent the Quality team in project leadership ensuring regulatory obligations are met.
• Provide leadership in design quality during development with integration of quality standards.
• Apply DFX methodologies across manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
• Quality reviews and milestone reviews—articulate risks with robust mitigation.
• Lead root cause analysis during design and manufacturing.
• Identify and mitigate manufacturing risks ensuring GMP adherence.
• Ensure supplier compliance to product/process specs and enable traceability.
• Identify and drive improvements for mature products to enhance quality.
• Analyse product performance data and customer feedback to identify gaps and regulatory issues.
• Lead CAPA to address quality issues per regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality, reliability and performance.
• Monitor effectiveness of improvements and report results.
• Provide training on quality practices and audit preparation.
