Job summary

Dyson is seeking a senior Quality professional to lead end-to-end quality activities for a Hair Care Appliance sub-category. You will manage deliverables, assess risks, and drive improvements across design, development, and manufacturing stages.

The role requires strong collaboration with engineering, operations, procurement, and commercial teams, plus international travel to support R&D and launch readiness. Excellent knowledge of quality systems and tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with 10+ years' experience in Quality, Product Design, Development and Manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and geographies.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Strong knowledge of Quality tools and methodologies (8D, FMEA, SPC, DOE, GR&R, SixSigma).
• Certified Lead Auditor or similar quality-system expertise is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own quality deliverables and risk management for a Hair Care Appliance sub-category throughout end-to-end development.
• Lead analysis of KPIs such as Failure Rate and Cost of Poor Quality and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers during NPI to ensure flawless launches.
• Contribute to FMEA and design reviews to mitigate risks.
• Lead quality readiness for new product launches and post-launch monitoring.
